Purple Grandma Cerakote Revolver
Some projects are made for one specific person, and this revolver was done for “a very special Grandma.” The frame was coated in Cerakote Wild Purple, a vivid, saturated shade that’s hard to miss.
Tom then polished the cylinder to bright bare steel and added a Wild Purple design on it, so the cylinder ties back into the frame while still shining. The contrast between glossy metal and deep purple makes the revolver look almost like jewelry.
Polishing a cylinder takes patience, working the flutes and faces through finer and finer abrasives until they reflect. Applying a design on that polished surface afterward means masking the bright steel carefully so the purple lands only where it belongs.
