“Yes, we finally had a chance to do a hand coated Muddy Girl theme,” Tom wrote. And he was quick to add: “No, these slides are not hydro dipped.”
Each frame and slide in this set was meticulously hand coated in Cerakote, building the familiar pink, black and white camo one layer at a time. That’s a big difference from a film dip; the pattern is part of a durable coating rather than a printed layer under clear.
The photo shows several Glock frames and slides together, and each one has its own variation, since hand-laid patterns never repeat exactly. Pink highlights sit against black and white branches, giving the bright, feminine take on camo that this style is known for.
