Ported Slide And a New Coat of Cerakote
This was one of the first firearms we ever coated, back in the beginning. It was showing a little wear, and the owner wanted to do something special with it.
So we took his old slide and gave it ports, then recoated it in grey tones. The ports show off the barrel and give the pistol a fresh look.
It’s fun to see an early job come back years later and give it a second life. Grey tones keep it understated. Ports cut through the slide lighten it a bit and show off the barrel underneath, giving an older pistol a sharper, more modern profile. The new grey finish replaces the worn original coat, so the gun looks fresh again without losing its history. For the shop, it was a chance to revisit one of the very first firearms it ever coated.

We then gave the entire gun a brand new coat of Cerakote….
The slide has a battle worn copper look while the frame is a custom Tungsten mix.
