Laser Cut 1911 Patriot In Worn Copper
This 1911 was hand cut in our shop, and every part was pre-fit before a theme was chosen. Tom felt a handmade 1911 “should always be patriotic,” so the pistol went in that direction.
The finish is a worn copper, distressed so darker metal shows at the edges like an old penny. “We the People,” the opening words of the Constitution, is laser engraved in script across the slide, and the cut details add depth to the profile.
Copper is an unusual choice for a patriotic gun. Most people reach for red, white and blue, but the aged metal gives this one a founding-era feel, like something pulled from a historical display.

Once everything fit perfectly we then decided on a theme which of course a hand made 1911 should always be patriotic in order to pull on our 2ed amendment rights and so we went patriotic on this one… We did all the deep laser engraving on the slide and then ran it through the worn copper custom cerakote coating. In order to add just a splash of color we went with our burnt crimson to trim everything out.
Not being fully satisfied just yet… We added a laser engraved 2 tone flag down the length of the grips on both sides.
This custom American themed 1911 turned out amazing.
