Ohio State Theme Custom Made 1911
This Rock Island 1911 was custom built as an Ohio State theme pistol. It got a three-color Cerakote coating and a set of custom-made jeweled grips with an inlaid diamond medallion.
The slide is scarlet, the frame is black, and the grips are white with red accents. The colors frame the medallion, which catches the light in the photo.
Making the grips in house means they match the slide and frame exactly. Tom called it “an amazing, beautiful Ohio State theme pistol,” and for a Buckeye fan, it’s about as personal as it gets. The diamond medallion sits dead center in each grip panel, a small sparkle that makes the whole pistol feel like a piece of jewelry for game day.
