This 1911 came in needing a serious facelift
This 1911 really needed some TLC. The owner had used a different Cerakote applicator who “totally screwed things up,” and brought it straight to Tom.
Tom fixed it, and it now has a silver slide and wood grips. The previous coating had been applied poorly, and fixing it meant stripping everything back to bare metal before starting over. Tom took his time to make the pistol look beautiful again, with a bright silver slide that shows off the 1911’s classic lines. The wood grips add warmth and contrast, and the pistol now looks the way it should have the first time. It’s a good reminder that applicator experience matters, since a bad job can cost more to fix than to do right.

This bad boy really needed a little TLC.
So we pulled things together and figured out how to make this beautiful firearm look beautiful again.
The owner had used a different cerakote applicator that totally screwed things up…
When he picked it up He brought it straight to me and asked me if I could fix his pride and joy.
Well this is what we did to make the customer smile again.
Make sure you know where your taking Your projects to. ….
Just because it says they coat things … doesn’t mean they do it well.
