3 Different Custom Cerakote Welding Hoods
A local manufacturer asked us to customize welding hoods, and Tom admits it was quite the challenge. “Yes, sometimes we even fail,” he wrote, but after several attempts, “this round hit it out of the park.”
The three finished hoods come in blue, purple and silver custom finishes, each with its own look. The curved shells and textured surfaces of welding helmets make even coverage tricky, and getting colors to show their full depth took some trial and error.
