Making A New Revolver Look Old And Rusted

We were brought a brand new revolver and asked if we could make it look like it was just dug up out of the ground after being buried for years.
And This is pretty much what we came up with. All done in Cerakote we attempted to make this revolver look old and rusted and show years and years of wear. This one took quite a bit of thought and work because we are usually working to make an old rusted up gun look brand new again … This time we had to reverse our thinking and I think it turned out pretty unique….

Smith Revolver done in Cerakote Elite Midnight

We finally got to spray Cerakote’s New Elite Midnight coating on this one of a kind rare Smith and Wesson Revolver.
The deep color that this new Elite series Midnight has is just breathtaking and this Smith and Wesson 625-2 model of 1988 was the perfect candidate to apply this beautiful color on.

Old West Revolver in Cerakote Distress

This Revolver needed a brand new coat and we made it look how we think all old revolvers should look.
Like it has been through the old west and won every battle.
This one we also placed grandpas name, birthdate and death anniversary as well on the barrel.
