Another custom welding hood, this time in a stars and stripes theme layered with our Cerakote holographic coating, then sealed under several layers of high gloss clear. The hood shows stars and stripes in grey tones, with a purple lens. Under shop lights it looks subdued, but the holographic layer shifts colors in sunlight. Several…
A customer brought us a brand new revolver and asked if we could make it look like it had been dug up after being buried for years. This is what we came up with. All done in Cerakote, the revolver has an aged, rusty look, with mottled browns and darker spots across the frame and…
We took a regular Gen5 Glock 19 and completely transformed it with our fiber laser. The slide was deep laser engraved end to end, chevrons were added across the top, slide lightening cuts went on the sides, and front serrations were added. Then the pistol got a battleworn grey-and-black finish, with wear showing on edges…
This Glock 43 wears a multicolor pink, black and titanium Kryptek camo. We also did laser-cut forward cocking serrations. The pink is bright, and the black and titanium cells give it depth. Kryptek works well on a small pistol because the layered cells scale down nicely. The forward serrations make it easier to rack the…
This Sig 1911 was transformed from its dull black everyday look to a two-color Kryptek. Then we polished all the internals and hardware to a high shine and deep reverse laser engraved the grips. The Kryptek pattern covers the slide and frame, and the polished hardware gleams against it. The black grips carry engraving that…
A customer wanted cocking serrations across the entire top and both front sides of his Glock slide. Our fiber laser made quick work of these cuts, each about .040″ deep. The photo shows the serrations running across the top of the slide. They’re even and clean. Laser-cut serrations are precise and consistent, and they’re a…
This post shows two levels of laser engraving on AR-15 lowers. One is a light surface mark, and the other is a slightly deeper cut. Both are permanent and can go on any surface of the firearm. The photo shows a text block marked on the receivers. The light mark sits on the surface, while…
This Kimber Solo got a custom Cerakote Wildcats UK theme, complete with custom UK grips. The frame is tan, the slide is blue, and the grips carry UK branding. It’s a compact pistol with team pride. Tom kept the colors simple so they stay bold. The Solo is one of the smallest pistols Kimber makes,…
Our version of Old Glory waves proudly on this Glock 43 slide. The flag ripples across the slide in red, white and blue, with shading that makes it look like it’s moving in the wind. A waving flag is harder to paint than a flat one because each stripe has to bend. On a small…
This was one of the first firearms we ever coated, back in the beginning. It was showing a little wear, and the owner wanted to do something special with it. So we took his old slide and gave it ports, then recoated it in grey tones. The ports show off the barrel and give the…
