Never Wrap Your Rifle In Gun Tape

It might seem like a great cheap idea at first to buy that camo gun tape to wrap your gun in..
But please never do this to your rifle or shotgun or whatever it is that you might be trying to make look better at a cheap price. This stuff just holds moisture and causes all kinds of problems later on.
This rifle was wrapped in Camo Gun Tape and used and cleaned but the moisture that it held finally got the best of it and the owner didn’t even know till the tape started coming off.
We took the tape the rest of the way off and it looked like the gun was un savable…. But we managed to save it.
We completely redid all the wood and cleaned up all the metal ….
With a fresh coat of clear lacquer across the stock and the fresh coat of Midnight Blue on the rifle and scope it looks brand new once again.

Ar 15 In Midnight Blue and Laser Scroll

A Beautiful AR 15 coated in Midnight Blue Cerakote.
And since we just love a challenge The customer asked us to come up with something using scroll work.
So this is what happened.. It is our first shot at doing Laser Scroll work but I think it came out pretty good…

Ruger Custom With Extreme Cylinder Backfill

This custom Ruger really needed some beautification when it came into the shop.
We stripped it down and completely remade the entire firearm in Burnt Bronze and Graphite black Cerakote. Then if that wasn’t enough we backfilled the cylinder so you can now finally read the extremely tiny engravings that you could never read before.

Ruger single action given new life

This beautiful Ruger single action pistol has been given new life with a brand new Cerakote coating of Burnt Bronze and Graphite Black.
I have to say that this revolver turned out amazing.

COLT when old becomes new again

This old Colt woodsman came into the shop needing a serious overhaul.
We were a bit reluctant to do it for the owner but he kept insisting that we do a complete make over for him so he would be able to enjoy it once again with his son.
We finally agreed to do it all up again in the Midnight Blue.
Each and every part was taken apart the internals were all polished and cleaned up to function like brand new again and then the other portions were completely blasted to bare metal and then coated with Cerakote Midnight Blue. The Colt functions now just like it did when it was brand new and the best part is that he never has to worry about it rusting up like it was.

Custom Coated and Hydro diped Grips

This old original wolverine was completely worn and and in desperate need of a make over…
The custom came in with this beauty and had specific ideas for it so we immediately went to to work trying to make sure we covered each of his requests… We coated in in a 2 tone coating and then hydrodipped the grips in a carbon fiber which turned out amazing….
